The best hiding place ever!!!!

Ethan found the greatest hiding place today and then Jackson had to prove that he could fit in there too!

Ethan made the paper

Here is a picture that was in the River Valley section of Sundays paper. Ethan and his friend Abby were swimming at Centennial when this was taken. He was jumping in to help the life guards get out the dead worms that had gotten in. That is such a boy thing to do but he had a great time.

Jackson's first cell phone

Well I finally did it!!! I have gotten tired of tracking him down on the golf course myself so we went out today and picked up his first phone. He was so excited and had to pick red of course because he loves the razorbacks so much. They actually had the same phone in orange but he said he could not get it because people would think he was a Texas fan. He is so cute though and is so proud of himself. Here is a pic of the new phone

The boys at one!!!

Being at Addison's first birthday party made me a little sentimental about how old the boys are getting so I thought I would post some pics of the boys at their first birthday parties. The bottom one is Jackson before we had a digital so I could not find as many for him. As you can see both of the boys dug into their cakes much more than Addison. I guess it is just being a boy!

Centennial Valley summer camp

While Ethan was at Safety town Jackson was at the Centennial Valley summer camp. They had a great time playing golf and tennis and swimming. The biggest project was to make these regatta boats that they raced at the end of the week. Jackson got the award for best painter (he painted their pirate boat) but unfortunately they lost the race.

Safety Town graduate

Ethan went to Safety Town last week and graduated on friday. He has so much fun meeting the police, fire and MEMS department. He learned not to talk to strangers and that his mom will probably cry when he starts kindergarten! He as a blast though and got that cool bike helmet at graduation.

The bravest bird and the laziest cat

Here is a couple pictures of our cat cheetoh and a mockingbird who will not leave him alone. The bird follows him around all day sometimes riding on his back and other times pecking at him as he is here. Cheetoh does not seem to care at all. We don't know quite what is going on but it is pretty funny.

Powder Keg Roller Coaster

Jackson and I had been on this ride many times but it was the first time for my mom and sister. They loved it as much as we did. We knew when it was going to shoot off but my sister was in the middle of blowing a kiss when it did!

The boys love playing golf

I went out the other day to take some pictures of the boys while they played with Daniel. Jackson is totally obsessed with playing golf and Ethan usually just goes along for the ride. He is pretty good for a 4 year old if I say so myself. Jackson had some lessons at the beginning of the summer and has tried to play every day since. He has really improved and is having alot of fun. There are also a few from the fourth of july and one of Bella enjoying the fireworks.

Our trip to Omaha and Branson

I feel like we were gone the whole month of June. We went to visit our family in Omaha and then hit Branson on our way home. We all had a great time and it was good to see all of our family

The Beginning

I thought it was time to start a blog for our family. My sister in law did it a few months ago and I have loved looking at it so I thought I would take a shot at it.
